Electronics is a very vast and wide subject. When getting started in electronic; the first question that comes to your mind is:
How can I start learning electronics?
Where do I begin learning electronics?
Which books are good to learn electronics? etc.
It’s a hard question to answer, there are a lot of resources to learn electronics. However, I made a list of 4 really good books to learn basic electronics.
I recommend it to any one who is interested in learning electronic
#1 Getting Started in Electronics by Forrest.M.Mims
This is one of the best books i have read when i started learning electronics. This book is printed in the “hand written” format. The first three chapter explains electricity, the different electronic components (resistor, capacitor, etc) and semi-conductors (diode, transistor). It has over 100 electronic circuits you can make and it also explains all basic components in analog and digital electronics along with their functions and uses. You can learn how these components work and how they fit into various circuit applications. It contains only 9 chapters. Download
#2 Make Electronics – Learning by Discovery by Charles Platt (2nd Edition)
This is another great book where you can start learning electronic. I love this book because you learn and practice while you make the circuit and it encourages you to think- “Why is it so” ?. It started by explaining experiencing electricity with some simple experiments. This is a self-teaching electronic book, it teaches learning electronic in a fun way. This book has a lot of experiments to get your hands wet and makes you curious to know more.
This book is really great to start learning electronic. It contains only 5 chapters Highly recommended. Download
#3 Electronic Circuits For The Evil Genius by Dave Cutcher
This book gives electronic hobbyists or amateur everything they need to know about basic electronic. This book is divided into 4 parts- The components part, the digital electronic part, counting systems in electronics part and amplifier part. It also has 57 easy-to-follow lessons with projects. It has 17 chapters. Check it out! Download
#4 Practical Electronics for Inventors by Paul Scherz
This was the first book I read when I started learning electronic. This book has more of the theory (the physic and mathematics that underlies any circuit application) aspect of electronic than all the books I listed above. It explains theory well, and its real life applications. It contains 14 chapters. Grab it! Download
